As with many of their more recent tables, this one is based on an original Williams table, this time from 1993. Nintendo Switch Online - Every NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genes.Įvery Nintendo Switch Online N64 Game Ranked I absolutely loved that one back on Pinball Arcade. Next purchase will definitely be Bride of Pinbot. I usually just wing it and hope I can keep the ball alive long enough to trigger something. There are just so many ramps tightly bunched together that it feels kinda impossible to reliably target one in particular, which is a shame since the table doesn't seem to have much else going on, requiring you to hit a specific ramp multiple times in order to start an event (such as one where lasagna slices are randomly thrown out across the table). I don't know if I'm just kinda doing something wrong, but so far Garfield has been the big disappointment. Didn't think I was doing that hot on it, but with a max score of a little over 6,000,000 putting me just outside of the top 100 scores on the all time chart it just seems like a hard table in general (I actually got over 8,000,000 once, but the game was having trouble connecting to the network so it didn't get recorded to the leaderboards). Still nice to play though as you can keep your ball in play for a decent amount of time. I've done okay on Fish Tales but not great (max score about 44,000,000). So far I've only played Fish Tales, Whirlwind, & Garfield. As a Trolls fan, I'm very happy with what they did for this table. Mostly got this for the Trolls table, I did like Kung Fu Panda, and looking forward to trying that table too. As a fan I'm loving every moment of this table. I was surprised when the musical strings from Trolls World Tour appeared as a bonus. Even the visual details are gorgeous and features visuals from both movies. Provided some challenge.Īll of the quotes come from both movies, even Poppy singing "let me hear you sing," even Cloud Guy is there throwing a few jokes. Interesting challenge as you have to hit it with the ball, then roll up the ramp to "feed" it the ball. I also like how the spider creature pops out, and you have to defeat it, which was inspired by something Branch did in the movie. Poppy picks up the ball, hugs it, put it in her hair, and then when it's multi-ball time, she throws them out on the board. I really like how they incorporated "hug time" as a multi-ball function. In the Trolls movie, the Trolls have something called "hug time," where they hug every hour. So much, I decided to play on practice mode just to check it out. ![]() ![]() I only tried a trial of the Trolls table on PC, but sitting down with it, I'm genuinely impressed with the amount of care and detail put into this table. I might be tempted to buy that…Įdited on Tue 11th July, 2023 03:46 by Teksetterĭecided to treat myself to the DreamWorks pack. That being said, Addams Family looks like an accurate sim of the beloved Bally table, and isn’t on FX3. I wish they would do the properties justice and invest in adding authentic audio. Maybe on the Super Switch, but not now.Īnother thing - I like how FX has new licensed pins like Peanuts and Garfield, but it seems they’ll annoy me somewhat like E.T., Jaws, and some other licensed pins on FX3: the gameplay is fine, they have authentic licensed visuals, but they have generic music and voice call outs which really detracts from the experience. I own all of the Williams pins on FX3, but no way am I going to purchase these again on FX unless they perform better and have a serious discount. What I am not thrilled about is the prospect of re-buying all the same tables, on the same platform, by the same publisher. I haven’t flipped the tv to try in taté mode yet, but hopefully it still plays decent. Honestly FX looked like a downgrade compared to FX3, not to mention the confusing title! I played a little bit of Fishtales and it seemed to perform ok (didn’t feel laggy, but there were some weird stutters here and there).
